Privacy Policy

1. No Personal Data Collected

NEO does not collect, store, or process any personal information. We do not require an email address, phone number, name, or any other identifying information to use the app. Your identity within the app is represented solely by a cryptographic tag generated on your device.

2. No User Accounts

NEO has no account system. There is no registration, no login, and no profile. Your tag is generated locally on your device using the Secure Enclave and never stored on our servers.

3. Messages

All messages are end-to-end encrypted using ECDH key exchange and AES-GCM encryption. Messages are relayed through our servers in encrypted form only. We have no ability to read the content of any message. Messages are deleted from our servers after delivery.

4. No Analytics or Tracking

NEO contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no third-party tracking. We do not track usage patterns, session length, or any behavioral data.

5. Device Verification

NEO uses Apple's App Attest service to verify that the app is running on a genuine Apple device. This process does not reveal your identity to us. The attestation data is used only to confirm device authenticity.

6. Subscription

NEO offers an auto-renewable subscription processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information. Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID.

7. Data Retention

We retain no user data. Encrypted messages are deleted from our servers upon delivery. We have no logs of who communicates with whom.

8. Children

NEO is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
